The City of Big Lake
Overview
Big Lake is located on the shores of both Big Lake and Mitchell Lake and is at the southern entry point for the Sherburne County National Wildlife Refuge and the Sand Dunes State Forest. The City is located midway between Minneapolis and St. Cloud, at the intersection of US highway 10 and MN 25.

There area has I-94 three miles from town. There is also US-10 that is located within city limits.
